1. Who we are

MarjinPilot ("we", "us", "our") is a Shopify pricing advisor tool operated as a sole proprietorship. We can be reached at hello@marjinpilot.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following:

—Waitlist signups: email address and optionally your Shopify store URL, submitted via our waitlist form.
—Usage analytics: page views and interactions collected via Google Analytics (anonymized IP). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
—Shopify store data (beta users only): product data, order history, inventory levels, and cost fields accessed via Shopify's API, used solely to generate pricing suggestions for your store.

3. How we use your data

—To contact you when your waitlist spot is available
—To generate pricing suggestions and action lists for your Shopify store
—To improve the product based on usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below.

4. Third-party services

—Supabase — stores waitlist email addresses on servers in the United States.
—AWS Amplify — hosts the MarjinPilot website.
—Google Analytics — collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the site is used.
—Shopify — we access your store data via Shopify's official API only with your explicit authorization.

5. Data retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you request deletion or we close the waitlist. Shopify store data is retained only while you have an active account and is deleted within 30 days of account termination.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@marjinpilot.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users. Continued use of MarjinPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
